Creating a care-led approach

There are two potential training opportunities coming up, for coaches interested in taking a care-led and inclusive approach to their work.

With more individuals becoming aware of the best learning methods for themselves, the neurotypical approach to facilitation can sometimes create barriers. Play Radical offers training for a participatory practice and process, making our practice accessible and inclusive for neurodivergent and/or disabled participants, incorporating play into our practice and developing sustainable and enjoyable practices for neurodivergent creatives.

Scottish Trans offer awareness training to support sensitive conversations with trans people, so coaches can be thoughtful and inclusive without assuming that all of a trans person’s problem or obstacles come from their identity. Naturally, coaches will need to decide if coaching is the best direction for the travel of the individual however the training is a practical way of supporting trans people through any line of work.

At the moment we are gauging interest from coaches before arranging any future workshops. If you would be interested in either training opportunities please email us.
