Claire Antrobus
Hello – I’m a Clore Fellow, coach, facilitator, trainer and arts consultant based in York working with individuals and organisations based around the UK, face-to-face and online, to create change and enable learning. After a career as a curator, funder and arts manager in galleries and museums, I trained as a coach in 2010 and a strong coaching ethos now underpins all my work; enabling improved performance by building confidence, clarity and commitment. With a background in research I ensure my practice is informed by latest thinking, but I’m no fan of jargon or unnecessary complexity. I like to be thorough, but keep things as simple as possible.
I describe coaching as a journey where you set your own direction of travel and pace. At the start of the journey you might feel lost, or maybe you’re raring to go but unsure how to get there. My role as a coach is to travel alongside you, helping you find your own compass, choose your own path and navigate yourself from A to B. En route, we review how it’s going; what needs adjusting and what you’re discovering that will help you go further and faster (and without me) next time. As your coach I’ll walk alongside you to explore the five key components of creating change:

- Capacity: building your ability to ‘self-coach’ by sharing useful tools and resources and developing your Emotional Intelligence.
